In 1916, while in Tokyo, Huang Jue co-founded the New Asia Alliance Party (新亞同盟黨) alongside Kim Cheol-su (金綴洙) and others. This organization aimed to overthrow Japanese imperialism and promote a new Asia through Sino-Korean solidarity. Later, the movement shifted to Shanghai, where the organization was renamed Datong League (大同團) and expanded its activities in collaboration with the Chinese Nationalist Party (Kuomintang).
After 1919, Huang Jue became involved in the New Asia Tongji Society (新亞同濟社), which had been established in 1912 by Shin Gyu-sik (申圭植) and other revolutionaries following the Xinhai Revolution. This society was dedicated to strengthening Sino-Korean friendship and supporting Korea’s independence movement. Its activities significantly contributed to the establishment of the Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea in Shanghai.
Huang Jue later worked as the chief editor of National Salvation Daily (救國日報) and as an editor for the Y.M.C.A. He attended multiple March 1st Movement commemorations, delivering speeches advocating resistance against Japanese imperialism and emphasizing the importance of Korea’s independence. Throughout his life, he maintained close ties with Korean independence activists and worked tirelessly to strengthen Sino-Korean cooperation in the fight against Japan.
His steadfast commitment to Korea’s independence and Sino-Korean solidarity was evident in his correspondence with Cho So-ang (趙素昻), in which he wrote:
"I express my deepest respect to you, who continue to fight for national liberation despite difficult circumstances. The Chinese and Korean peoples have long stood together as brothers, overcoming hardships through close cooperation. Now, more than ever, we must unite and continue our efforts as brothers."
