Operation Guide for the Seoul National Cemetery Shuttle Bus

Seoul National Cemetery has been operating a shuttle bus on weekdays and Saturdays (excluding Sundays and public holidays) since March 2023 to provide transportation for bereaved families and visitors, circulating between major graveyards including the Memorial Hall. We encourage active use of this service.

The Main Gate is located at 6 o’clock, with the Memorial Plaza and Memorial Tower directly above it, followed by the Memorial Gate and Memorial Hall. At the 7 o’clock position are the UN Forces Monument, Yogaksa Temple, the Tomb of Ahn Jung-geun, General Officers’ Section 2, the Police Memorial, and the Firefighters Memorial. At 9 o’clock are Military Sections 2, 3, and 4. At 11 o’clock are the Civil Servants’ Section, Martyrs’ Section, Patriots’ Section, and Students’ Section. At the top (12 o’clock) are the March 1st Movement Monument, the June 10th Independence Movement Monument, and the Kang Woo-kyu Statue. At 1 o’clock are the Democracy Patriots’ Section, the Armed Forces Medical Command Section, the Ministry of National Defense Agency for KIA Recovery & Identification, and the Cemetery Administration Office. At 3 o’clock are Military Section 1, the Officers’ Section, the Fallen Soldiers’ Section, and the Police Section. At 5 o’clock are the Provisional Government Leaders’ Section, the Provisional Government Memorial, the Patriots’ Section, and the Independence Activists’ Section. The shuttle bus departs from the Civil Affairs Office and stops at National Meritorious Person Section 3, the Second Memorial Hall, the tombs of President Park Chung-hee and President Kim Dae-jung, the Tomb of Royal Concubine Changbin Ahn, and Jeong Nangyo before returning to the Main Gate. Exit 4 of Dongjak Station (Line 4) is located at the lower left of the East Gate, and Exit 8 of Dongjak Station (Line 9) is at the lower left of the Main Gate.
