Greetings

Since its establishment in July 1955 as the Armed Forces Cemetery, Seoul National Cemetery has served as a sacred ground to honor the loyalty and patriotism of martyrs and patriotic spirits who sacrificed themselves for the nation and the people.
Aiming to be an “open patriotic memorial park beloved by the people,” we are evolving into a citizen-centered cemetery by hosting a variety of patriotism-promoting events, providing a pleasant, convenient visitation environment, and offering people-focused burial and memorial services.
As the prosperity, freedom, and peace enjoyed by Korea today were made possible by the sacrifices of those who laid down their lives for the country, we will continue to manage Seoul National Cemetery with utmost respect and sincerity so that the noble patriotism of the fallen will forever be remembered by all citizens.
We kindly ask for your continued interest and support so that Seoul National Cemetery continues to move and communicate with the people as an open memorial park.
