Monument for the Participation of Republic of South Africa in the Korean War

South Africa dispatched one air squadron to Korea on November 16, 1950. The squadron carried out operations of close air support, intercepting rear area and destroying industrial facilities in Pyongyang, Suwon, Jinhae, Yoido, and Hoengsung. This monument was established to honor the squadrons military achievements in the war.
