Monument for the Participation of Sweden in the Korean War

Monument for the Participation of Sweden in the Korean War

The UN designated North Korea as the aggressor, and resolved to participate in the war. As a result, 21 UN members were involved in the Korean War. Among them, Sweden dispatched medical teams. In order to commemorate the participation of Sweden in the Korean War, this monument was built at the Pusan Commercial High school (now the Pusan branch of the Lotte Hotel), initiated by the Swedish Association of Field Hospital and the Swedish Association of Korea. The epitaph was made by the Swedish government.
