Monument for the Participation of Tűrkiye in the Korean War

Monument for the Participation of Tűrkiye in the Korean War

Tűrkiye dispatched an infantry brigade to Korea on October 17, 1950. Although the Turkish soldiers had difficulties in the Kunu-ri battle in the early stage, they repelled the enemy in the combats of Keumyangjang-ri, Changsungchun, and Nevada. The ROK Ministry of National Defense established this monument to honor their achievements, and to respect those who died in the war.
