MPVA and MOLIT Sign MOU to Upgrade Support for Patriots and Veterans
⚫ On the 25th (Monday) at 5:00 PM, Minister of Patriots and Veterans Affairs Park Min-shik and Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Won Hee-ryong signed a memorandum of understanding at Yongsan Park, Seoul. ⚫ The ministries agreed to actively cooperate on 10 key initiatives in two areas, "Promoting Patriot-Honoring Culture in Daily Life" and "Enhancing Quality of life for Patriots and Veterans, in Sectors such as Housing and Transportation," including: ▲ Creation of a patriotic memorial space within Yongsan Park ▲ Introduction of special license plates for national merit recipients ▲ Installation of priority parking zones for national merit recipients ▲ Provision of subsidized retail spaces within public rental complexes ▲ Discount on toll fees on local roads ▲ Priority purchase of holiday train tickets (for disabled veterans) |
