| Korean Veterans Minister Rides with France on the “Alliance Cycling Road” | |

• The event will be held on October 9th (Monday) at 7:20 AM in Yangpyeonggun, Gyeonggi-do, where French forces fought during the Korean War. The third of its kind, this Alliance Ride will take place in conjunction with the Yangpyeong Gran Fondo, a cycling contest.
• The Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs will promote the significance and history of French participation in the Korean War, as well as unveil the "Monclar's Path" and its memorial structure. • Korean Veterans Minister Park Min-shik expressed hope in that "the event can serve as an opportunity for the Korean people to remember and reflect on the dedication of the French troops and General Monclar." |
