• On November 11th at 10:50 AM, the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs will host a commemorative ceremony with over 1,000 attendees, including UN veterans, diplomats, and UN personnel, at UNMCK in Busan.
• At 11 AM, a Minute of Silence will be tributed while citizens of the world Turn Toward Busan to commemorate the fallen heroes. • It is the last commemorative event for the 70th anniversary of the Armistice to honor the fallen UN veterans and express gratitude, while strengthening solidarity with UN participating countries. • Minister Park Min-shik stated, "Today, the free and prosperous Republic of Korea stands on top of the sacrifices of veterans of the UN Sending States," and announced that "The Republic of Korea will make its utmost efforts to honor the heroes, enhance solidarity with the Sending States, and pass down this great history of a blood-forged alliance to our future generations." |
