| Remains of Independence Patriot Chung Doo-ok Returns Home from Hawaii after 120 Years | |

• The Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs will conduct a return and interment ceremony for the remains at the Daejeon National Cemetery on the 15th (Wednesday). A team will be dispatched to Hawaii on the 11th (Saturday) for the repatriation of the remains.
• A memorial service will be held in Hawaii on the 13th (local time), organized by the Korean Consulate General in Honolulu. • Minister Park Min-Shik stated, "We will do our utmost to ensure that the remains of Chung Doo-Ok are laid to rest in his homeland with the highest honor." |
