The Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs will conduct a repatriation ceremony for the remains on April 29 (Mon) at 5:30 PM at Incheon International Airport Terminal 2 Arrival Area A.
Veteran Ferdinand Titalepta, who passed away, expressed his wish to be buried in Busan. His remains will be interred at the UN Memorial Cemetery Korea in Busan on May 2 (Thu). Minister Kang Jung-ai vowed to ensure that he can rest in honor in Busan, as per his wishes, and continue to repay the noble sacrifice and dedication of our war heroes through various international veteran affairs programs, including posthumous domestic interment and invitations to revisit Korea. |
