| Event For Descendants of Korea Independence Fighter | |

The Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs hosted the Event for Descendants of Korea Independence Fighter 2019 on March 4. The event was held annually since 1995, a year that marked 50th anniversary of national independence and has been inviting the descendants of Korean Independence fighters who did not yet have the opportunity to visit South Korea due to their ancestors who fought for independence overseas. Vice Minister of Patriots and Veterans Affairs Lee Byoung Goo attended the event to deliver a welcome speech to the invitees and participants.
