Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs to Support the Establishment of First Korean War Monument in Germany
Germany, which sent medical aid during the Korean War, plans to construct the first 'Korean War Monument' within the German Red Cross Headquarters. Minister Park Min-shik expressed gratitude for the humanitarian support that Germany sent for the Korean War, stressed that the role of veterans affairs is to assure the bond between the two countries last for generations, and promised to provide active support for Germany’s establishment of the first Korean War monument. The delegation also visited the Berlin Red Cross Hospital to benchmark Germany’s advanced rehabilitation and medical System, while proposing exchange and cooperation programs with Korean veterans hospitals. |
